Friday Mornings at the PIE School Store

Friday mornings at Wiscasset Elementary start with a little excitement. From 7:30 to 8:00, students can stop by the school store before school starts and spend a few minutes picking out something fun. There are pencils, erasers, stickers, small toys, squishy balls, gadgets, fidgets, etc., and there’s always something new and fun that catches a kid’s eye.

The store is run by our Partners in Education (PIE) parent group, and it only happens because parents give up their Friday mornings to make it happen. Ken and Danielle Clarke, along with Heather McArdle, are pictured, hard at work helping students select their choices. Kids come in excited, and they leave with a smile and something new to show their friends.

The school store is one of many fundraisers PIE volunteers run to raise money for our students and school. PIE is always looking for more help, and even a little bit of your time makes a difference. If you can spare an hour, or even less, please reach out to wiscassetpiechair.com

To Ken, Danielle, Heather, and all of our PIE volunteers: thank you!! You do so much for the students and staff at Wiscasset schools, and we notice and appreciate it every single day.
