Social Change Through Art Students Visit Bowdoin Museums
Teacher Alyson Graham took her Social Change Through Art class to the Bowdoin College Museum of Art and the Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museum. Students explored the work of artists from around the world who use their talents to speak to important social issues, from Indigenous rights to climate change to homelessness. A highlight of the trip was seeing a real Andy Warhol up close! Experiences like this bring classroom learning to life and show students the power of art to inspire conversation and change.
