Wiscasset Elementary School students celebrated Crazy Hair Day on Thursday, Oct. 1, after filling their pom-pom jar! Whenever a staff member gives a student a pom-pom, it's a sign that the student has been safe, responsible, and respectful. Being responsible means doing the right thing at the right time. Being safe means using a safe body and safe words. Being respectful means being aware and showing you care. Once the jar is full, the whole student body earns a fun school-wide event. This month's reward was Crazy Hair Day, and students and staff alike joined in on the fun!
