As a class, we read The Runaway Bunny, by Margaret Wise Brown. The story is about a little bunny that runs away, playing a hide-and-seek game with mother. We brought the story alive; Bunny's animal friends 'hid' around our school, visiting important people and places we will interact with throughout the year. Students went on a school tour, helping Bunny find her friends, seeing important places, and meeting important people. We turned our big adventure into a special book for our classroom library!
