Fourteen pre-kindergarten students at Wiscasset Elementary School celebrated the end of a wonderful year on Friday, June 5, surrounded by the people who love them most.

The highlight of the ceremony was a performance the students had been working on with music teacher Carole Drury, which included songs with movement that they delivered with plenty of enthusiasm. Teacher Samantha Crawford put together a slideshow of the year's memories that gave families a chance to look back and appreciate just how far their children had come since September.

Each student received a certificate before everyone headed off to enjoy cake together, which was a fitting end to a day worth celebrating.

Congratulations to the Pre-k class of 2025 on this first big milestone. What a year it has been. Kindergarten is lucky to have you!!
