In Memory of Alex Cheney
Alex Cheney was a bright and beloved young boy whose time at Wiscasset Schools left a lasting mark on all who knew him. Full of life and warmth, he touched the hearts of his classmates, teachers, and community in ways that words can barely capture. Though he left this world far too soon in 2005, his memory continues to bloom — kept alive through a beautiful memorial garden dedicated in his honor at Wiscasset Elementary School. A special thank you to Nadine McCoy, Administrative Assistant, whose devoted care of this garden ensures that Alex's spirit remains a living, growing presence for every student who passes through those doors. May this place of remembrance remind us always to cherish the precious gift of a child's life.
