No. 10 to St. John is an original piece written by Mrs. Emily Barker about the Halifax explosion in Canada in 1917. It is a powerful, historical story of sacrifice and heroism that stood out to her, and she thought it would make an interesting play. She wrote it for 5 actors, knowing the One Act would be a small cast this year.
The One Act team will be performing the One Act for the community on Thursday, March 5 at 7 p.m. at WMHS, before they take it to competition this coming weekend. It is only a 20 minute show and admission is free (although donations are always appreciated!) The actors and techs surely would appreciate your support!
