“Musical Madness” at WES!
Each year, students in music classes at WES participate in “Musical Madness” (fashioned after college basketball’s “March Madness”). This year the theme is “Happy 250th, America!” Students will learn 16 patriotic songs and vote on their favorites until we have a winner. Attached is our “Musical Madness” bracket chart. How many songs are you familiar with? How would you vote?
In addition, students in grades K-3 will give a concert on May 6th, with the same theme, where they will perform patriotic music in celebration of our nation’s birthday. Our WES Chorus will also present some patriotic music at their concert on May 18th as well. More information about these events will be forthcoming. We hope you will be able to join us!
