We're so delighted to share these photos of the special holiday gift bags our 6th grade students lovingly created for the 38 residents they adopted this season. (Names on the bags have been blanked out for privacy)
Inside each bag was heartfelt treasures: a handmade card, sweet treats, and a watercolor bookmark painted by the students themselves. Each one was personalized for its recipient. Our students put genuine care and creativity into this community service project, and we hope it brings joy to every resident at Damariscotta Nursing Home, reminding them how valued they are this time of year.
