MORP, 8th grade trip, Promotion, pictures, and more!
Hello 8th graders and Families of 8th graders -
As we prepare for 8th Grade Promotion, please email a baby picture as well as a photo of your 8th grader now to cstade@wiscassetschools.org for our Slideshow on June 6.
There is lots coming up for our 8th graders in the next 5 weeks. Here are some details:
May 14-16 - New Meridian Science Assessment (grade 8, blocks 4 & 5)
week of May 19 - Through Year Assessments (Math and Reading)
May 21 - Visit the Upward Bound Program at Bowdoin College
May 23 - MORP dance held at WMHS from 7-9pm
June 2 - 8th Grade Trip to Boston, depart at 5:45am
June 6 - 8th Grade Promotion, 6pm in the WMHS Gym
8th graders are also invited to sign up for the Sea Kayaking trip on May 29 and the Maine Huts and Trails trip from June 9-11.
8th graders are welcome to be at school the week after their Promotion.
June 11 - Middle School Field Day
More information will be shared through email and a letter home.
