The students in Mr. Pike's 7th grade class spent a cold January morning visiting the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath. Under the guidance of a museum educator, the students learned how Percy & Small Shipyard built its massive wooden ships and its overall contributions to the world. After the course, the students explored the museum and engaged with the numerous hands-on exhibits.
