In the spirit of the Cambridge Union Debating Society, the Principles of Democracy Class welcomed State Representative Ed Polewarcyzk, member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 47 (Alna, Jefferson, Whitefield and Wiscasset). A graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1963 and later an M.B.A. Rep. Polewarczyk shared his extensive experience working with NASA and the Space Shuttle Program and currently serves on the State Education and Cultural Affairs Committee. A series of elected officials invited to share policy issues impacting the Wiscasset community like Selectmen Terry Heller, Sherriff Todd Bracket, State Senator Cam Reny, and District Attorney Natasha Irving.
