Wiscasset History Students admire the architectural Design of Castle Tucker
Castle Tucker exemplifies the rich architectural history of late phase Georgia style also known as Regency Era. American History and AP United States studied the famous 1807 mansion to better appreciate the historical and economic importance of Wiscasset Harbor in early America.
The students sketched the exterior architecture by outlining the Regency style, emphasizing purity of detail and powerful structural highlights of Greek and Roman antiquity.
