Wiscasset School Department

The Wiscasset Unsinkables competed in the MESI Short Course Winter Championships this past weekend 3/14-17 at Bowdoin College. We had 3 swimmers, including Wiscasset’s own Emily Gilliam, qualify and compete in individual events. Emily came in 8^thplace in the Womens 15 & over 100 BACK. We also had a Senior Girls relay team consisting of Emily Gilliam, Linnea Andersson, Maggie Sawyer and Jessie Willey who had a fantastic weekend breaking our WCCU team records for 3 out of the 4 relays they competed in! Some of those records had stood for 17 years! Overall it was a great weekend of racing for WCCU!!
