On Wednesday, December 13th, the WHS Student Council visited Togus. It was really awesome to see how the kids interacted with the aging and sick veterans. They visited the veteran gravesites as well. They brought Christmas cards, hand- knitted lap blankets and flowers and also sang Christmas songs and had long conversations with the veterans. Mrs. Pooler has taken the WHS Student Council to visit Veterans for the past 10 years and we thank her for keeping this wonderful tradition alive!
