Kitchen Assistant:

This is a school year position at 6.5 hours per day.

The assistant will prepare and serve students and staff nutritious and appealing meals in a sanitary and efficient manner. Must have great customer service skills, the ability to work both independently and as a team member, have sanitation training, good math and computer skills and the ability to lift 40 pounds. ME DOE CHRC required.

Responsibilities include serving lunch daily, as well as rotating with dishwashing, operating computerized Point of Sale system, general end of day clean up, food prep and other responsibilities as assigned by the kitchen manager

Anticipated Opening ~Middle School Social Studies Teacher

The Wiscasset Middle High School is seeking a Social Studies teacher. The ideal candidate will hold appropriate State of Maine certification. The team is looking for a collaborative team player to build on a social studies program with opportunities for interdisciplinary projects, innovative use of technology, project-based learning and the ability to continue to shape the middle school social studies curriculum.

STEM Teacher Grades 6-12/Middle School CTE

Wiscasset School Department is seeking a STEM/CTE teacher for grades 6-12. This position is a grade 6-12 teaching position for a candidate with experience in Robotics, Drones, or engineering classes and certification with a Maine 395 or 350 endrosement. Potential classes may include: Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science and Drones, however these courses may not all be taught for the 2019-2020 school year. Class offerings will be based on the specialized experience of the candidate. 

Speech Language Pathologist - Start date will be August, 2019. Must have ME DOE 297 Endorsement and experience assessing K-12 students in the areas of speech and language.

The speech language pathologist will work with an exceptional K-12 educational team. Experience working collaboratively with other professionals is a must. Seeking a flexible and knowledgeable professional who can provide assessment in all areas of speech and language, including pragmatic language for eligibility decisions and educational programming decisions. ASHA Certification and Maine State License as a speech/language pathologist required.

Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist:

Wiscasset School Department is seeking both a licensed physical therapist and a licensed occupational therapist in our schools (serving preK-grade 12) for the 2019-2020 school year. Wiscasset School Department will also consider these positions on a contractual basis. Positions open until suitable candidate is found.

Bus Driver - School year regular route bus driver needed. Position to remain open until suitable candidate found.
