WISCASSET SCHOOL DEPARTMENT has openings for the following positions:

Anticipated Speech Language Pathologist - Start date will be for the 2021-2022 school year. Must have ME DOE 297 Endorsement and experience assessing K-12 students in the areas of speech and language.

The speech language pathologist will work with an exceptional K-12 educational team. Experience working collaboratively with other professionals is a must. Seeking a flexible and knowledgeable professional who can provide assessment in all areas of speech and language, including pragmatic language for eligibility decisions and educational programming decisions. ASHA Certification and Maine State License as a speech/language pathologist required.

Grades 7-12 Certified high school teachers (all content areas welcome to apply) - WMHS is anticipating the need for high school teachers to support all content areas.

Alternative Education Teacher (grades 8-10) - This teacher supports small group instruction with struggling students in multiple content areas. Experience with hands on alternative approaches preferred.

Anticipated WMHS Administrative Assistant (year round)- WMHS Administrative Assistant (year round):

WMHS is seeking a dynamic administrative assistant who will be the face of the school. Excellent communication (both verbal and written), bookkeeping, and customer service skills are a must. The chosen candidate will be a self-starter willing to take initiative to complete tasks and projects and be able to handle a fast paced environment with a positive attitude. Experience working with middle school and high school aged students preferred. Must be fingerprinted and background checked through ME Department of Education.

Night Custodian - 30 hours per week. Experience preferred with the ability to work independently.

Bus Driver - 20 hours per week. CDL with endorsements, physical and clean driving record required. Must be available each school day for assigned route.

Van Driver - 20 hours per week. Physical and clean driving record required. Must be available each school day for assigned route.
