Set For Success From Feed Our Scholars
Dear Parents of Wiscasset Elementary School Students,
Feed Our Scholars is pleased to announce that it is hosting its second Set For Success Program to ready students for the 2020-21 school year.
What is Feed Our Scholars Set For Success? Feed Our Scholars Set For Success is a program that provides all W.E.S. students with basic teacher-required school supplies that they need to be successful during the school year. Open to everyone regardless of their financial situation, the emphasis of the program is about celebrating and supporting our children.
How will my child receive the school supplies? While Feed Our Scholars hosted a fun-filled Set For Success “shopping” event at the school last year, this year students will receive their school supplies directly from their teachers. We will tell you more about that as the time for school opening gets closer.
What do you as parents need to do? Nothing! Each W.E.S student will be provided with the teacher-requested school supplies they need. Feed Our Scholars Set For Success saves you time, money, and the comfort of knowing your child will have their school supplies without having to worry about going to stores or shopping various sources. Feed Our Scholars Set For Success will handle it for you!
How can you help if you would like to? The program provides school supplies for all W.E.S. students regardless of their financial situation. However, if you would like to contribute so that Feed Our Scholars may purchase a supply item, you can send a check for whatever you feel comfortable with to St. Philip’s Church, 12 Hodge Street, Wiscasset, Maine 04578. Please write Set For Success in the memo line. No donation is too big or too small and any donations are greatly appreciated!
Who can I ask about Feed Our Scholars Set For Success, or provide comments to? It is important that we try to answer any questions you may have about the program. In addition, we would love to hear feedback or thoughts on either this year’s or last year’s initiative. You may send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or contact Mary Coventry, care of St. Philips Church at 882-7184.
